Map settings are stored locally in the browser using web storage (localStorage). This means that the data is saved in the browser and does not send any information to our server. However, clearing history and site data in the browser will reset the settings. Additionally, using the browser in incognito mode will not save the settings when the window is closed. In this case, you can export the settings to a JSON file for later use.
